Vintage Royal Doulton Figurine "Choir Boy" HN2141 Bone China 4.75" COPR 1953
This classic and vintage figurine, titled "Choir Boy" HN 2141 was designed by Margaret Davies. It was issued in 1954 and discontinued in 1975. The young boy is dressed in full red and white choral garb and holds a black music book. This figurine is beautifully detailed with intricate features in the boy's face, ruffled collar and the hint of his black shoe peaking out from his robe.
The Royal Doulton 'Mark' or 'Backstamp' is applied to the underside of the figurine along with the initial production run of 1953.
The figurine stands 4 3/4" tall and is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. Upon very close inspection, there are two tiny fleabites on the back of the figurine, but they are not readily visible. See photos for condition.
A fantastic addition to any vintage or antique Holiday related collection or as a wonderful add to any Royal Doulton collection.
