This is a vintage Bond Electric Corp No. 102 flashlight. It features text indicating it was "MADE IN U.S.A." and designed to use "SUPER POWER CELLS" with a "USE NO. 102" specification. Requires 2 "D" cell batteries (not included)
Manufacturer: Bond Electric Corporation, a company that eventually bought the Yale brand and was later acquired by Winchester.
Battery Type: This model was specifically designed to operate using a No. 102 mono-cell battery.
Modern Compatibility: While the original batteries are obsolete, these flashlights can often be powered using modern D cell batteries. The flashlight is made mostly of brass and shows some wear but still works and very durable. Slight corrosion on inside of tube that can be cleaned out as the tube is brass. An excellent piece of vintage US memorabilia and quality built item. Will be disassembled for shipping to accommodate a lower shipping cost
