Vintage 50's Androgeny

Well people were smaller than us in the 1950’s. This sweater vest is amazing and originally it was made as a mens small; it’s a mohair & wool blend. I absolutely love this look on women. The shirt and tie are part of an ROTC dress uniform complete with a tie tack. The shirt is super cool because it’s fitted and hugs the curves. The front of the shirt dips down deeply from the hips which is a great silhouette for women. The tie hangs below the vest which looks neat. Though not included, just for fun, I threw a pair of Army Dress uniform pants that are a great wool, are flat front, have a big thick black stripe on the side, and are bootcut. I think they look great as a part of this outfit. They fit great. The vest measurements are bust 35 1/2”, waist 34”, length 22” and will fall above your hips. The shirt is bust 36”, waist 36”, hips 38”, shoulders 29”, length at lowest point 30”. The bust of the vest is a size 6 and the shirt translates to a size 8. The pants fit like an 8-10.
